I love photo editing! More specifically I love using free photo editing software to make banners, buttons, icons, logo, etc. I could sit and do this all day long. I wish I could get paid a living wage doing it all day long. LOL!

Say Cheeeeeeeze!

I decided to start this blog and create tutorials on various photo editing processes. I use all free photo editing software so hence the title of this blog, "Free Photo Editing Tutorial".

Yes, I love freebies. Why spend hundreds of dollars for software when you can get free software that does what you want or need done? If I were a professional photographer or something like that, perhaps I'd consider spending major bucks for Photoshop. But, I don't see that happening.

The top three free photo editing software I use are Gimp, Photoscape, and Paint.net. I use Paint.net for quick jobs, and Gimp for heavy duty things. Photoscape is an in between software package that I really, really like. It can do some things in just a steps, whereas it takes Gimp or Paint.net several steps to accomplish.

Each of my favorite three photo editing software have certain things that each does best. So, I'll probably be doing tutorials using each of them.
